Following suite of witribe Wateen has also started giving Motorola’s CPEi 35750 as its CPE for new Wimax Connections the device is good looking and sleek you can see its images in the original witribe review here
Unlike witribe which had a bold statement and good branding on the package wateen only settled with a small logo on the box

This maroon color leaf is the actual color of this CPE from motorola. This leaf somehow managed to be same as the brand color of Witribe. Wateen has just put the logo on it. That would have been great if wateen would have done their brand color to the leaf too..
yup i agree, sitting on the shelf i confused it with wi-tribe’s CPE, just looking a bit closer revealed it was wateen’s
If you try both of these new CPEs at the same time, which one do you find better?

I am using the new Wimax Wateen Device. Its performs very well. Once it was not working 2 days i made a complain to wateen service center and they resolved my wateen problem, it means that problem was from wateen side not from the new device. After that i have not find any problem yet. i have used the old Minar-E-Pakistan wateen device too but i did not find any difference between the new and the old devices.

Zain, thanks for stopping bye, you located in lahore or islamabad, is this true that wateen is launching wimax usb devices.
I have just got the PTCL EVO and I found it wasn’t downloading anything at the 3.1 Mbps and when I checked their website I found that the device will only download between speeds of 300 kbps and 500 kbps… So what is this 3.1 Mbps all about? Is PTCL deceiving us? At least I am deceived.
I am planning to get another USB now with the committed speeds of more than 1 Mbps and unlimited transfers.

Agreed with Geo..I also got PTCL EVO (or EVIL I should say) they are deceiving people… speed is no way near 1MB forget their ridiculous advertisement of 3.1MB, my normal speed is around 50kb -300kb and yes I get 4-5 Bars at my signal meter which is considered pretty good. I have complained to them many times and opened numerous cases, NOT a single call back. I am also getting weak signal and have to be confined at certain area of the house to get decent signal. I came to Pakistan for couple of months to do certain projects, speed is extremely critical for me and I’m really disappointed at my experience with PTCL EVO, it cannot be considered as sub standard product but significant improvement is needed..and urgently, otherwise their subscription will drop like flies…..
i am using both wateen device at same place cpei600 and cpei35775 and the 1st have 4 signal at bar and new one have 2 signals can any one help me to now why that is happening

I dnt know about wateen wimax cuz its not available in muzaffarabad azad kashmir, i am using ptcl Evdo here, and its working so well and it gives a very good speed. the demand of evdo is increasing now days, but broad band internet should be more and more faster and cheaper. waiting for wateen Wimax to work in Muzaffarabad. Any way all of this its Great that now Pakistan is in the race of other countries. now i think we all are waiting for 3G technology, hope we will hear about it sooner. Allah hafiz every body

dear im also using wateen wimax connection its so good, speed is 1.2mbps.
with wateen u can watch online movies and also torrent speed 1.1mbps so dear its better than other net connection’s. i also use world call evdo but the problm’ of evdo when signals become full its working well even its beat wateen but some times when singnals go down as well speed go down.so i think wateen is better.
may be you can also check the wateen wimax wifi blade. with it also you can enjoy working at home. wateen Wimax USB also Aailable for best results and mobility beyond a single stay

well i think ptcl is da best one … wateen really sucks no statatic ip 2000 rs to purchase but in ptcl no cost lolz for hosting gamessssssssssssssss wateenmaking fool just nothing gys really no static ip for free only in ptcl broad band at least i can host games there
